One quiet Saturday I drifted into an exhibition by Michael Hofmeyer but became riveted by the beauty of his choice and use of precious and semi precious stones and the unique engineering of his clasps.

Thanks again for doing such a beautiful job. We both received so many compliments on the day about our rings.

Michael Hofmeyer’s work dances with colour and uniqueness. He brings greater beauty and luminosity to the materials he works with. His jewellery is a joy to look at and wear!

The special medallion that Michael Hofmeyer created for my “big burly bloke” for his birthday is luminous on him and he doesn’t ever take it off. Michael was ready with suggestions for design, best materials to suit him, even down to the most appropriate chain to put it on and this is the result we got. What more could I ask for?

My niece is very hard to buy special presents for: petite but not girly. However Michael Hofmeyer created a unique piece that she loves and it looks beautiful on her.

Michael I love my Mobius ring with its Fair Trade diamonds and I wear it all the time. I know you call these diamonds “uncut” but I prefer the call them “untamed” and you have so beautifully wrapped them in their silver setting.

It’s not at all flashy (which seems to be the thing these days) but my own unique piece which makes it far more precious to me.
